Discovering the Etruscans - Marturanum Regional Park

By following this path it will be possible to visit the most beautiful Etruscan tombs of the necropolis.

It is a pleasant walk suitable for everyone, we will start from the Caiolo equipped area where we will get to know the type of environmental context, to reach the area where the first tombs dug into the tuff are located, a resistant but easy to work magmatic rock, very widespread locally and for this reason used by the Etruscans, who used it to create the necropolises (of different types) that we can still visit today.

It is interesting to note how the Etruscan people managed to live in perfect contact with nature, without altering or ruining it.
