Le Prove nature trail

A beautiful trail, easy and short (about an hour there and back). It runs along the shores of Lake Vico, near “La Bella Venere”.

In addition to being a pleasant walk, it is also excellent for those who love birdwatching among the reeds of the lake. Numerous species of grebes are found in this area.

The vegetation is characterised by white willow and black poplar which offer shelter to some species of nesting birds, including the penduline tit whose nest resembles the shape of a pear and is built with the inflorescences of the cattail and generally hung from a willow.
